Almost every day I get messages like this from religious kooks. I enjoy responding to them.

God is Genius. I pray I don’t learn about God until after I die.

  2. You’ve already learned about God, you read his FB & commented on it. ?

  3. Facebook God is the one true God; well, him and R’hllor. The Lord of Light is a pretty cool dude, he answers to prayers of Melisandre and Thoros.

  4. When I was young I had questions, as we all do, and I went to a variety of churches to try to find answers. I did – every church taught the same thing: OUR God is the one true God. All others are false and they are in risk of hell. So I asked, often, “If there is only one true God, and that God is omnipotent, isn’t it safe to assume that ALL Gods are God and we just choose to interpret the teachings of that God in a different way?” and “If God is all-loving and all-forgiving, then why do we take it upon ourselves to condemn others in His name?”

I also asked why every Christian church preaches the writings of man and ignores the teachings of Jesus (the parables), which are all about the purity and power of love and forgiveness. How can we call ourselves Christians if we ignore the teachings of the Christ?”

The last time I asked these questions at a Baptist church I was advised that “perhaps this isn’t the right place for you” and was asked to leave.

That’s how I became an Atheist. I respect all religions, but once they demand violence, intolerance or hatred towards any other person or group, they become a cult, and I HATE cults.

  5. God spoke to the prophets in the Old Testament – no one but them heard him speak.
God spoke to Jesus – no one but Jesus heard him speak
God spoke to Mohammed – no one but Mohammed heard him speak
In all these cases, a human was used to impart Gods message to his chosen people. All we can know is that a human wrote down what he was told God said to someone.
Today God uses someone to impart his message through FaceBook. We aren’t hearing what God said to the typist long after the event. We are seeing Gods words as clearly as if he was speaking directly to us.
Prove that I am lying and that God never spoke to the writer.

  6. If God is everywhere then he is in Facebook God

  7. My life was much improved when I shed the myths of my youth.

  8. Beliefs all have a lie in the middle.
    Be-lie-fs.

  9. “So I asked, often, “If there is only one true God, and that God is omnipotent, isn’t it safe to assume that ALL Gods are God and we just choose to interpret the teachings of that God in a different way?” and “If God is all-loving and all-forgiving, then why do we take it upon ourselves to condemn others in His name?””

Excellent. We’re all on a journey and our paths are different. The one true God isn’t concerned about what label someone wears…..

  10. Why is it that so many people accuse God of not being the real God? How would they now they are not speaking with the real God? this by deduction would therefore result in them refusing and denouncing God himself! This would ultimately send them straight to hell for refusing to accept the god they are ultimately trying to worship? Now if you can work that logic out you go straight to heaven with a thousand virgins……
